Thursday 8th October - walks *** – Felixstowe sunrise and Rushmere Heath
– sunny, cooler and breezy.
I joined Mag for her early morning prom walk to take a few sunrise pics but
there was a bank of cloud so it was pretty uninspiring, chilly too and for
the first time I actually didn’t take any pics! No windsurfing for me
today, firstly our van is in the garage and Mag had an appointment in
Ipswich and I wanted to join her on the bus there! Had breakfast in the
garden as sheltered from the breeze and the temperature was under ten
degrees, even managed my exercises too! We left home at midday to get the
bus which we caught from Great Eastern Square and headed to Ipswich sitting
on the top deck, to be honest bus travel is not our favourite as we got off
at Ipswich hospital way too early so got a yummy breakfast sandwich from
Smiths! The appointment went well and quickly so we walked across the road
and did a circuit of Rushmere Heath avoiding golf balls, it was lovely out
in the sunshine too! We enjoyed a cuppa from a flask with a chocolate bar
before returning on the bus which was not much fun as there are loads of
stops in Trimley! We are having Maeva late now for two days in a row as her
Mum and Dad are going to concerts and she arrived tonight at 5.30 not
leaving until 11 and hardly waned at all, I bet she fell asleep in the car
on the way home!
